Venue

 

The Conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, which has been recognised as one of the leading convention centres in the world by the International Association of Congress Centres. The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is superbly located in the resort-style, riverside precinct at South Bank, unique for Australia’s only beach in the heart of a city, feautring a sub-tropical riverfront parkland, tropical rainforest walks, over 35 cafes, bars and restaurants, stylish shops, theatre and music and the Queensland Art Gallery.

 

Transport

 

The Conference is accessible by all major public transport, including a train link directly from the Brisbane domestic and international airports. Transport options include:

Train, City Cat, Ferries and Bus Stations are all located within easy walking distance to the Convention Centre.

• The Centre has its own dedicated taxi rank and secure undercover car park.

• There are also set down and pick up bays for coaches, with parking available.

Travel options from the Brisbane airport to the Conference:

 

Airtrain – The fastest and most economical way to transfer from the Airport to the Brisbane CBD is on the Airtrain. Airtrain services depart every 30 minutes from approximately 6am to 7pm every day and stop at five city stations. It takes approximately 24 minutes to travel via Airtrain to South Brisbane station, which is located alongside the Exhibition Centre. A one-way single adult ticket costs just $13 between the airport and the city centre. You can book online and find more Airtrain information here.

 

Shuttle buses – Coachtrans operate door-to-door shuttle bus services every 30 minutes from major flights to the door of your hotel for approximately $12 per person. Phone: Coachtrans +617 3238 4700 or book online directly here .

Taxi –  At Brisbane’s Domestic Terminal, taxi ranks are located at both the Qantas and Virgin Blue ends of the terminal.  The taxi rank at the Brisbane International Terminal is located on Arrivals level 2. 

 

Hire car –  Having your own means of transport is a great way to get around our city and also enjoy the many attractions on our doorstep. In the International Terminal the car rental customer service desks are located on level 2 and in the Domestic Terminal on ground level.
