IPOS 14th World Congress and COSA's 39th Annual Scientific Meeting

11 - 15 November 2012, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, Queensland.

The International Psycho-Oncology Society (IPOS) will be holding its 14th World Congress and Psychosocial Academy in conjunction with the Clinical Oncological Society of Australia (COSA) Annual Scientific Meeting here in Brisbane in November this year.

The Congress and Academy are initiatives of IPOS and will be hosted by Cancer Council Queensland, in partnership with the Psycho-Oncology Cooperative Research Group (PoCoG) and the Australian Psychosocial Oncology Society (OZPOS).

The theme of the Congress is Impact through Translation: Cancer Research Informing Practice. Up to 1500 delegates are expected to attend this conference from Australia and overseas bringing together the world’s leading psycho-oncologists, clinicians, researchers and other health professionals.

A dynamic program, including a consumer forum, will ensure all delegates gain new understandings of the future opportunities for psycho-oncology to improve cancer control and care.
