Relay For Life is a unique event where the community comes together in an amazing show of strength, camaraderie and goodwill to create hope for a cancer free future.

At Relay For Life, teams of up to 15 people keep a baton moving in a relay-style walk or run overnight - 18 hours straight - during which they celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones lost to cancer and fight back against a disease that takes too much.

The 2013 Central Highlands Relay For Life will be held at the Emerald Showgrounds on August 17 & 18 (2pm-8am).

Entry is $15 for youths and $20 for adults, which includes a polo shirt and breakfast at the event.

All funds raised through Relay For Life are invested into Cancer Council Queensland’s vital cancer research, education programs and patient support services.
