33rd Annual Oncology Nurses Group Conference

Health professionals invited to gather for oncology conference

All health professionals from across Queensland are invited to attend Cancer Council Queensland’s 33rd Annual Oncology Nurses Group Conference.

The Conference will be held on September 9 and 10 at the Radisson Resort, Gold Coast.

The Oncology Nurses Group Conference presents an ideal opportunity for all health professionals in Queensland interested in cancer care to join their colleagues at this industry leading event to learn and discuss the latest in scientific research, share resources and strengthen their professional networks.

This year's conference will for the first time dedicate a full-day session to educating Queensland health professionals on the latest advancements and practices in breast cancer treatment at its Health Professionals Breast Cancer Education Day.

The conference will feature an exciting educational program relevant to everyday practice in regional and metropolitan settings, including: current trends in cancer prevention and screening; diagnosis; treatment; survivorship and palliation; psychosocial care and research.

The theme this year is ‘Multidisciplinary Care: We are all in this together’, which recognises the diversity of health professionals involved in cancer control.

Registration and abstracts applications are open now. Travel grant applications will close on June 30.
