Cancer Council Queensland has committed to funding a five-year Strategic Research Partnership (STREP) Grant that commenced in 2009. The purpose of the grant is to encourage researchers in clinical settings to develop highly effective translational research groups and to accelerate the progress of policy and practice focused research on cancer in Queensland. A total of $1.25 million has been committed over five years towards this grant.
