About the Oncology Nurses Group

Now celebrating its 35th year, the Oncology Nurses Group provides a range of supports to nurses wherever they care for people with cancer in Queensland. With close to 800 members throughout the state, members receive a range of benefits including access to travel grants, a regular newsletter, website, regional group seminars and discounted registration fees to attend the annual conference. 34th Annual Oncology Nurses Group Conference

The 34th Annual Oncology Nurses Group Conference was held on Thursday and Friday 7th and 8th April 2011 at the Novotel Hotel Brisbane. 250 nursing and allied health delegates attended the conference from across the state to hear 37 presentations from experts in clinical and psychosocial cancer care and workforce issues.

Membership is open to all nurses with an interest in cancer care.

Advisory Group Membership

Community Grants Program

The Cancer Council Queensland Community Grants Program enables eligible organisations to apply for funding of up to $15,000 for cancer-related initiatives, which will enhance the provision of cancer care through increasing comfort, enhancing privacy and dignity and providing support and information.
