Health Professional Education Forums

Cancer Council Queensland is the leading cancer control organisation n Queensland.

We provide a range of cancer support services and programs that are tailored to meet the needs of people with cancer. We aim to educate the community about the prevention and early detection of cancer by promoting knowledge, skills and behaviours to help reduce people’s risk of the disease.

We also provide a range of services and supports for health professionals who care for people with cancer or who are involved in the prevention and early detection of cancer. This includes special interest group membership and scholarships and travel grants. To assist health professionals with their knowledge about cancer care, we also provide education forums.

Cancer Council Queensland provides lectures, workshops, seminars and conferences for health professionals on topics relating to prevention, screening and early detection, cancer and cancer treatment, psychosocial concerns, rehabilitation and palliative care. The forums are conducted across the state.
