BreastScreen Queensland is part of BreastScreen Australia which is jointly funded by State, Territory and Commonwealth Governments. It offers free screening mammograms and follow-up assessment services for women. It aims to reduce the mortality and morbidity of breast cancer.

As part of the program, all women over the age of 40 years are eligible to access a free breast cancer screening mammogram every two years. The main target audience is women aged between 50 and 69 years.

You do not need a referral to attend BreastScreen Queensland and you can make an appointment by phoning 13 20 50.
