New Queensland laws lead the way in tobacco control

Australia is leading the world in tobacco control, with the Federal Government about to introduce new laws to mandate plain packaging and the Queensland Government preparing to introduce bans on retail displays of cigarettes across the State.

Breast cancer research project another first for CCQ

CCQ has commenced a major new research investigation to improve breast cancer survival among Queensland women. As many as 3,000 women affected by breast cancer are expected to take part in the study over the next five years.
