Your cover letter should clearly indicate the position you are applying for and give a brief summary of your motivations for applying and your relevant skills and experience.
Your resume should include your work experience, educational background, professional development, names of two professional referees and your contact details.
Reponses to key skills should clearly address how you meet each of the key skills that are listed in the position description. It may be useful to include examples of how your past experience or
qualifications assist you in demonstrating your abilities in these key areas. One to two paragraphs per key skill is usually sufficient.

Recruiting process and time estimates
We will carefully read your full application and will contact you for a phone screen if you are shortlisted for the position. The purpose of the phone screen is to find out more about your motivations for applying and your fit with the role.
The next step of the recruitment process is a face to face interview with the line manager of the team and a HR representative. At the interview, we will go more into detail about your skills, motivation, experience and expectations. You will have a chance to ask any questions about the role and Cancer Council Queensland.
Following the interview, we will conduct reference checks and in some cases, we will invite you in for a second interview to meet with another member of the team and view the working environment.
