Allied Health Professionals Oncology Group (AHPOG)
The Allied Health Professionals Oncology Group (AHPOG) is a group for all health professionals working in cancer care and public health.
AHPOG is a special-interest group which operates throughout Queensland and aims to support allied health professionals by providing opportunities for Scholarahips and Travel Grants.
Membership
Membership is open to all allied health professionals and public health professionals with an interest in cancer care. Medical and nursing practitioners are not eligible for membership.

Health Professional Study and Travel Grants
Cancer Council Queensland’s program of scholarships and study grants provides health workers in the field of cancer the opportunity to improve knowledge pertaining to research, diagnosis, treatment and education about cancer. The experience gained will make it possible to give the highest standard of health care to people with cancer.
Each year, $70,000 in scholarships is offered, with each scholarship valued at a maximum of $10,000. There are scholarships for international travel and travel within Australia, and scholarships for nurses, medical, paramedical, educationalists and allied health professionals.
