For more information on the types of support available, please see below.

Our Cancer Council Helpline is staffed by trained professionals with knowledge about cancer and cancer care. They are there to help you with information, support and referrals to other services. Call our Helpline toll free from 8am to 8pm, Monday to Friday on 13 11 20, or click here to order resources online.

Our Cancer Counselling Service gives people affected by cancer the opportunity to talk through problems and learn new ways of coping.

We are linked to a number of support programs that offer peer support and information to people with cancer and their families and range of informative workshops and seminars .

Our Cancer Connect service provides cancer patients with peer support and information by connecting them with people who have had similar cancer experiences.

Our Breast Cancer Support Service offers support and information by connecting women who have had similar breast cancer experiences.

Our Brain Tumour Support Service provides information, referral and support for people with brain tumours.

Support during treatment is important when a person is diagnosed with cancer. We offer a range of support services for people with cancer.
