Oncology Nurses Group 32nd Annual Conference Travel Grants

One of the major tasks of the Oncology Nurses Group is to conduct an Annual Conference which has become 'the event' of the Oncology Nursing Calendar.

Travel grants are available to all Oncology Nurses Group members throughout Queensland for the Annual Oncology Nurses Group Conference.

LAUNCH DATE:

March, 2009. Applications close 5pm Monday, July 13, 2009.

APPLICATION:

Oncology Nurses Group Clinical Oncological Society of Australia (COSA) Annual Scientific Meeting Travel Grant and the Cancer Nursing Society of Australia (CNSA) Conference Travel Grant

AIM:  To provide the opportunity for financial assistance for nurses to attend the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Annual Scientific Meeting (November) and the Cancer Nursing Society of Australia (CNSA) Conference. The knowledge gained will make it possible to give the highest standard of nursing care to people with cancer.

DETAILS:  Nurses applying for these travels must be a member of the Oncology Nurses Group.

Two (2) travel grants will be awarded.

  1. Metropolitan travel grant – for nurses resident and/or working in the geographic areas covered by: Ipswich, Brisbane and Logan City Councils and Moreton and Pine Rivers Shires.
  2. Non-metropolitan travel grant – for nurses resident and/or working in Queensland outside the geographic areas covered by: Ipswich, Brisbane and Logan City Councils and Moreton and Pine Rivers Shires.

VALUE: The travel grant includes return economy airfare, conference registration and daily allowance.
