Everyone, For Every Women

Support the power of pink, October 26, 2009.

One in 11 Queensland women will be diagnosed with breast cancer by the age of 75, and more than 2500 women die from this disease each year.

Cancer Council Queensland is pinning its hopes on you to wear a pink ribbon on Pink Ribbon Day in support of all Queenslanders touched by breast cancer.

Pink Ribbon Day is an annual awareness day held throughout Australia. The funds you raise through Pink Ribbon Day will enable Cancer Council Queensland to:

  • Continue to fund vital breast cancer research.
  • Provide support services for people affected by breast cancer and their families to help them through their cancer. diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
  • Help inform women about the importance of early detection and ‘breast awareness’.

 

Last year over $400 000 was raised for Pink Ribbon Day in Queensland.  This year we need your support to raise even more.

 
How you can help:

1. Order your Pink Ribbon Day merchandise:

To sell to your family, friends, customers and collegues. We'll deliver everything free of charge, courtsey of our courier sponosor TNT. Whatever you don't sell can be returned to us alongise with the dontaion you have raised.

2. Volunteer
