  • A minimum of two reference checks from previous employers. The applicant nominates these referees.
  • Other miscellaneous information disclosed by the applicant and included as part of the resume.

  • Use and disclosure of your personal information.

During the course of the recruitment and selection process the Human Resources team will use personal information provided in applications. The information will often be distributed internally to the relevant hiring managers involved in the recruitment. The information will be treated in the strictest confidence and will not be distributed outside the organisation.

Once we have completed the selection process, any information collected for this process is held and stored in a secure location. Resumes and related information are kept for six months. After this time it is shredded or disposed of in an otherwise unidentifiable way. The Cancer Council Queensland does not sell any personal information.
